This year marks the start of a new era in local festive party evenings and events, right here in the town centre.
The Tait Hall is an excellent location with free parking and facilities catering for over 200 people.
Our party nights are on:
- Friday 15th Dec
- Saturday 16th Dec
- Thursday 21st Dec
- Friday 22nd Dec

Grand Hogmanay Ball at the Tait Hall

With a great Tait Hall cheer"
£30.00 per ticket to include four course dinner and live music and dancing from scottish band “tinsle town” with midnight pipes to bring in the new year.
- Tait Hall Doors Open at 6pm
- Organisers and Guests to be seated by 7pm
- Four Course Scottish Fayre will be Served at 7pm
- Bar Open 6pm until 1am - main bar will be located downstairs, there will be a wine & bottle bar located up in the hall. Table service will be available throughout the evening.
Live music provided by Scottish Band Tinsel Town who play a large selection of music from 60’s to date and also have a Ceilidh section. This band is renowned to get everyone on the dance floor!
Live pipes will bring in the New Year!
Dress Code: Not strictly formal but smart/casual, although a number of people have mentioned coming in ball attire, which is absolutely fine.
Pre-order Dinner
We have provided a pre-order dinner sheet which we would be grateful if you and your guests would complete in full and return to the Black Swan Hotel, Kelso no later than Friday 22nd December 2006 in order that we can make preparations that will ensure your evening runs smoothly and that everyone has a wonderful Hogmanay.
